Havens Hospices are looking for volunteers to join their Penguin Patrol and help keep the penguins safe! Your role will be to engage with supporters in this spectacular public art event helping them find their way around plus checking on the penguins and reporting any damages to Havens. Havens Hospices want to create a special huddle of fundraising penguins and need your knitting skills to bring it to life. Whether you are an experienced knitter or just starting, every hand-crafted addition will make a difference. Once completed, you can drop your brrrrrilliant knitted masterpiece to any of Haven’s charity shops. They will be sold during the trail to help raise funds for the families they care for.
When there is no cure, we provide the care you need. Havens Hospices provides palliative nursing and supportive care to adults and children living with complex or incurable conditions.
