Project Southchurch have partnered Hindu Association Southend & District to present Happy Holi, a FREE event for families.
Holi is a popular and significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love, and Spring. It celebrates the eternal and divine love of the deities Radha and Krishna. Additionally, the day signifies the triumph of good over evil.
Holi will be the first festival Project Southchurch partner celebrating the different cultures and diversity within the City of Southend over the coming years. It will be included as part of the Hands Together programme promoting tolerance and providing education through events.
The event will be full of joy, colour, food and a few other surprises.
