The Kite Festival

This is the first Kite Festival. We are inviting people to come along and spend the day flying kites and experience the wonderful and wide selection of restaurants, Cafes, Hotels and bars along the Eastern Esplanade.

This is a FREE family friendly event.

We will be joined by RNLI, Essex Police and other friends promoting the safety of our wonderful coast.

Tides and weather permitting the kites won’t only be in the air. Southend Kite surfers will be on hand to display out in the sea and chat about their sport.

Come along and enjoy the Eastern Esplanade beaches between Ocean Beach and Roslin Beach Hotel to spend the day with us and fly kites.
