A Christmas Carol

Prittlewell Priory
6.00 pm to 10.00 pm
Part of Christmas at the Museums

Join us after dark at Prittlewell Priory for a special, seasonal screening of Charles Dickens’ ultimate Christmas classic ‘A Christmas Carol’ (1951).

I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future. The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. I will not shut out the lessons that they teach.

Get cosy and enjoy the most Victorian of festive tales in the fitting setting of our Victorian Parlour. Popcorn and other refreshments will be available to purchase in the visitor centre beforehand.

The film’s run time is 1hr 25 minutes. Please note: this event is for age 11+ only.

This screening is ‘BYOB’.. bring your own blankets! We will have a few cushions to hand for visitors to borrow, but we do encourage visitors to bring their own cushions to place on the chairs for comfort.
