Cinderella – Dementia & Baby Friendly

The Haven Community Hub
4.00 pm to 6.00 pm

It’s Panto Time! Cinderella can’t wait to meet you all

This is your personal invitation to the magical ball!!

Our cast of seven will bedazzle you with incredible vocals, and with ingenious set pieces and brand new comedy routines – this is a panto you’ll remember for years to come!

We are bringing theatre to Westcliff!!! We’ll be transforming Havens Community Hub into a panto wonderland, with a maximum capacity of 80 people our pantomime will be an intimate experience.

You’ll be greeted at the door by our friendly Front of House team who will check your name off the guest list, no need to print your tickets but feel free to have them ready on your phone. Then you’ll head through the main door into the hall – there’s no separate front of house area so when you’re in – you’ll be in the auditorium. Feel free to grab a drink from the Havens Cafe or House Bar which will be run by the VDub Tavern (a local business from Rayleigh!)

The show will run for approximately 2 hours including an interval. The whole venue is on one level with toilets at the far end of the venue.

There is a car park at the top of Hamlet Court Road but please check out the FAQS on our website for more information on parking and public transport options.

At this Special Dementia + Baby Friendly Performance, we will make the following amendments to the show;

  • The lights will be a little brighter and the sound a little lower
  • We can provide a simple picture book to help with social stories
  • There will be a break out space available to anyone who needs it, as well as space for grown ups to stand at the back with their babies whilst still being able to watch the show
  • Signs will be up at the venue explaining this is a relaxed performance and people are free to get up and take a break whenever they want
  • The cast will limit interactions with the audience

We are also delighted to be offering the following additional performances;

5th January @ 2PM – Rayleigh Mill Arts Centre (Relaxed) – inclusive performances ideal for people with learning disabilities or autism, or anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment

5th January @ 7PM – Rayleigh Mill Arts Centre (Grown Up only) – Love panto but kids aren’t your vibe… join us for our drink along performance with added jokes for the grown ups

Please get in touch if there is a way we can make our production more accessible for you
