Prittlewell Pumpkin Patch

Prittlewell Priory
11.00 am to 4.00 pm

Pop down to Prittlewell Priory this half term to choose your pumpkin for halloween from our own specially created pumpkin patch!

For one weekend only, Prittlewell Priory’s lawn has been transformed into a pumpkin patch, just in time for Halloween! Come along and choose a pumpkin to take home with you, and enjoy other family friendly seasonal activities including face painting, crafting, a children’s trail and ‘medieval melodies’, our drop in interactive music and storytelling sessions.

Now that autumn is here, the medieval monks of the priory’s past have been busy preparing a feast for All Hallows’ Eve, and they could use your help! Once you’ve found the perfect pumpkin, complete their scavenger hunt to get everything ready for the festival, and learn about what autumn would have been like at Prittlewell Priory in time gone by.

To join in their festivities yourself, take part in one of our ‘Medieval Melodies’ drop in sessions, held in the refectory at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3pm. Each session lasts approximately one hour.

While you’re exploring, make sure to get your face painted, try your hand at a cornhole throwing game, and get creative with a Halloween themed kids craft to take away with you.
