Explore the City Centre

The City Centre is a great place to start your Southend adventure. There's plenty of places to grab a bite to eat, and you're spoilt for choice for things to do!

Southend Central Museum and Beecroft Art Gallery are both just a stone’s throw away from Southend Victoria Train Station.

If you’re coming from Southend Central Train Station, be sure to stop by Focal Point Gallery for some cultural inspiration. After that, venture down the High Street for a bit of retail therapy!

If you fancy some shopping then you’ve come to the right place! Here you’ll find all the national chains as well as some great independents along the High Street and in our two shopping centres, Royals Shopping Centre and The Victoria Shopping Centre.

The Central Seafront is where you’ll find classic amusement arcades, and some great attractions like Adventure Island and Sea-Life Adventure. And not forgetting the world’s longest pleasure pier, Southend Pier and Railway!
