The increasingly-popular Scott’s of Southend Garden Centre and Nursery is delighted to announce the opening of its highly-anticipated new restaurant. Specialising in vegan and gluten-free dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients.

New for 2021, the aptly-named Scott’s Kitchen is a modern and vibrant eatery, specialising in on-trend vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free offerings and superior customer service. The 90-seat venue serves locally-sourced, high quality food and drink in an airy, bright and spacious environment.

Open seven days a week, Scott’s Kitchen has an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, featuring summer salads, top brands like Moving Mountains and Love Seitan, alongside fresh fish, meat from Essex farms and options for children, including the ‘Little Gardener’s Breakfast’.

All of the produce served is supplied by local businesses; from the fresh fruit and vegetable grocer Kirby and Lewis in Shoeburyness, to Harpers Fish Merchants at Temple Farm.

The restaurant offers table service to ensure a Covid-compliant, safe and comfortable dining experience, and no booking is required. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor dining area, where they can enjoy water, snacks and shade.
