The Hang Out Venue

The Hang Out Venue is designed for the community.
Firstly, we are for 8-12 year-olds, and their responsible adult to hang out.
When the kids are at school, we are available for hire.
Located in the centre of Southend and fully accessible, we are a safe relaxed venue. Hanging out is the aim of the game!

Making memories with friends and colleagues old and new. Walk-in’s welcome and online booking available.

Children’s Hang Out Sessions
The Hang out is for 8 – 12 year olds, as this age group need somewhere to hang out with friends. We are not childcare, so children need a well behaved responsible adult.

£10.99 per child per 2hr play session. Up to two adults free. Additional adults £2.00 due to capacity.

Term time Monday to Friday between 16:15 – 20:15

Saturday & school holidays between 09:00 – 20:00

Sundays between 10:00 – 16:00

Walk in welcome or book online

Facilities include arts and crafts, toys, gaming, table tennis, table football, air-hockey, pool, chess table, board games, toys, jigsaws, marbles, children’s book exchange and reading area.

Our cafe and tuck shop is open for those using the hang out and is reasonably priced. It is not open to the general public when children sessions are running.

When the children are at school we are available for term time hire.

Exclusive Hire
When the kids are at school we are available for hire. Monday to Friday 07:00 – 16:00

The Hang Out venue is a relaxed, centrally located professional accessible venue, with capacity for up to fifty delegates (depending on table layout). Flip charts, white board, projector and access to facilities is included. Cafe can be available if needed.

The Hang Out Venue provides a creative relaxed space for groups to meet. Optional refreshments, catering and space sizes available up on request.
